                              Present Simple

                           James So, the CEO of Unilever Finance, tends to wake up early at 5 a.m.
                        The journey takes 45 minutes and he uses the time to call his customers.
                        “When I arrive at my office, I sometimes read the newspaper for half an
                        hour”. He says.


                              Form


                              A.  Positive form
                          1.  S + V be (is / am / are)

                          2.  S + V1 (add ‘’S” for the third person singular he / she / it)

                          I / You / We / They work for NASIC.

                          He / She works for NASIC.



                              EXAMPLE:

                          I / am / a Sales Manager.

                          You/We/They / are / the students at the Rajabhat University.

                          He/She / is / the Accounting Manager.




                              B.     Question form
                          1.  V be (is / am / are) + S _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _?
                                 -  Am I a Sales representative?
                                 -  Are (they / you / we) the students at Rajamangala University?
                                 -  Is (he / she) the Accounting Manager?


                          2.  Do / Does +S + V1 + _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _?
                                 -  Do (I / you / they) work for RMUTP?         - Yes, (I / you / they) do.
                                                                                     - No, (I / you / they)
                                     don’t.
                                 -  Does (he / she) work for NASIC?             - Yes, (he / she) does.
                                                                                - No, (he / she) doesn’t.
