Use “How many” with countable noun.
                                         “How much” with uncountable noun.
How many tomatoes do we need?
How much bread have we got?

                       2. SOME AND ANY

Some and any are used with Plural Nouns and Uncountable Nouns.

We use “some” with positive statements.

EXAMPLE: We have some information about Apple Company.
We bought some fruits from Lotus.

We use “any” with negative statements and questions.

EXAMPLE: We did not have any bread in our fridge.
                                     Have you got any money?
